Daddy's Birthday or Mine? Sunday, 2 Mar 2008

It's daddy's birthday today! After my Seimpi Music trial class, we headed for Waraku Japanese Restuarant at Central Mall for lunch. Daddy keep reminding mommy to get a small cake. Not for himself but rather for his favourite boy (ME) to practise singing the birthday song and blowing the candle. We finally brought a blackforest cake from Four Leave. Although i couldn't complete singing the entire birthday song but they all enjoyed my singing.

Hmm...so what did mommy got daddy for his birthday? She so practical, a Nike waistpouch(to encourage daddy to do more jogging), a wallet and a spiritual calendar on parenting(hopefully, daddy picks up more tips from there, mommy is always complaining that he gives in to me too much)

Daddy saw Mommy's art piece and was tempted to give it a try too.
Of cos, he still need mommy's help to TIDY up his piece to make it more beautiful and presentable..haha!
Overall, must applaude his effort. Not super fantastic but nice try!

Mommy has been toying with the idea of doing up a DSB for me. She is very much inspired by Aunty TL and it seems awfully fun to! FINALLY, her maiden artwork is done up. Mommy says "it's really addictive and i'm real proud of my first piece". Mommy so "yah-yah"

Daddy had lunch with his colleagues at Poison Ivy and was quite impressed with the place and he told himself he just have to bring his favourite boy to explore this Krangi farm. This Sunday, he brought Ma-ma, Xiao-gu and the family to check out Bollywood Veggies. We even saw some ang-mos cycled all the way in to have lunch. Daddy and Mommy commented that they will probably "die" cycling all the way into the countryside (excuses, they're just too lazy to exercise!) After lunch at the Poison Ivy Bistro, we had a tour at the plantation. For the first time, i was so excited to see so many fruit trees, vegetable plots, flower beds, etc.
Even Daddy and Mommy admitted many of the trees look "foreign" to them. Ma-ma actually gave all of us a free Science Lesson based on what she recalls seeing at the kampong when she was young.

Gong Xi Fa Cai 2007! Sunday,18 Feb 2007

It's the first day of CNY. Mommy bought me a CNY suit. I looked super handsome, rite...hehe! I was at Da Gu Po house. It's a yearly practice to have vegetarian steamboat dinner at her house but i'm more interested in "playing" or more like "banging" the keys on Uncle Sam's piano. I absolutely look like a pro, don't i? I'm just not sure if i'm creating music or noise pollution instead! Mommy promised to expose me to learning music when i'm ready..probably when i hit 4 years old.
Ethan kor-kor and i even perform a duet together...COOL!
